What are the visiting hours of Murad al-Bukhari Lodge?


The Lodge is open Tuesday through Sunday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and closed on Mondays for cleaning and routine maintenance.

Do I need a reservation to visit?


No. Reservations are not required for regular visits during opening hours.

How can I get to the Lodge?


You can reach the Lodge by Metrobus, ferry, city bus, or car. See Getting Here for routes and nearby stops

Are children welcome?


Yes. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult; we kindly ask families to help maintain a quiet atmosphere.

Who is the Lodge allocated to?


The Lodge is allocated to the İlim Kültür ve Sanat Vakfı (İLKSAV Foundation).

Why is the Lodge closed on Mondays?


Mondays are reserved for cleaning and routine maintenance to prepare the site for visitors.

Is the Lodge accessible for visitors with mobility challenges?


We aim to welcome visitors as comfortably as possible. Due to the historic nature of the site, some areas may include steps, uneven surfaces, or narrow passages.

Who manages the site and what is the public authority involved?


The site is managed by İLKSAV, and conservation/restoration matters are carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Foundations.

Is there an admission fee?


No. Admission is free of charge.

Is parking available?


Parking availability may be limited in the area. If arriving by car, we recommend Flat Ofis Parking nearby.

Are programmes open to everyone?


Programmes are announced on the Events page. Some sessions may have capacity limits and reservation requirements.

Is there a dress code?




Yes. Photography is allowed. Please be discreet and respectful in sacred and visitation areas.

What regular programmes take place at the Lodge?


Key programmes include the Du‘a Programme (first Sunday of each Hijri month), Sahih al-Bukhari Readings (every other Sunday at the Lodge), and Ramadan Programmes (reservations may be required).
